What is Electrolysed Reduced Water?
Electrolysed Reduced Water
is living, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant-rich, healthy water for revitalised cells and a healthy alternative to regular tap, filtered, and bottled water.
Electrolysed Reduced Water Overview
Electrolyzed Reduced Water (ERW) or hydrogen water, begins as tap water. It is then filtered to remove chlorine and other impurities from the tap water and then through a process called electrolysis, the hydrogen and oxygen molecules are separated. This process donates electrons and essentially creates new molecules called diatomic molecular hydrogen, or h2, or molecular hydrogen. Molecular hydrogen is a very potent antioxidant so when you drink ERW, you are drinking antioxidant-rich water!

An oxidant, by definition, is an oxidizing agent, while an antioxidant is any substance that acts to slow or prevent the oxidation of another chemical.

ERW can be used for various purposes, including drinking, cooking, beauty, and cleaning.
Scientists in Japan have found that ERW significantly reduced cell death caused by oxidation and that molecular hydrogen provides neuro-protection for the cells. In the human body, oxidative damage has been implicated in many of our modern-day diseases such as cancer, heart disease, and diabetes. Antioxidants, on the other hand, act to tame the free radicals (or highly reactive chemicals) in the body that have potential to harm cells and cause disease.
The Human Body is comprised of up to 70% water, so it's not much of a stretch to say that "the basis of vitality and a long and healthy life is water”.

If you want to feel good and be at your optimal health level, you should drink water on a daily basis. But not just any type of water.
Here are some problems with drinking the most commonly used waters . . .
Tap & Filtered Water
Tap water is becoming more and more unhealthy or maybe we're just becoming more aware of what has always been in there. Tap water is dead water! It carries no life force other than being able to hydrate us and it doesn't even do that very well. Due to the restructuring of Kangen water, Kangen water is able to cross a cell membrane faster and with less resistance and therefore hydrates us more efficiently on a cellular level compared to tap, filtered, or bottled water.

Many people still find themselves dehydrated on a cellular level despite drinking large amounts of water. This is because dead, heavy water is harder to permeate (pass through) a cell membrane.

Some of the contaminants in NZ water include but are not limited to:
-
Aluminium; Arsenic; Chlorine; Fluoride; Copper; Cyanide; Iron; Lead; Mercury; Nickel; Pharmaceuticals.
You only need to google what the accumulative affect these contaminants can have on our health over years of exposure to see the negative impact our drinking water can have on us.

More recently PFA's have shown up in our drinking water. PFA's are forever chemicals. They are the strongest molecular bond on the planet and are virtually impossible to break down, hence the name. Recent studies have shown that there is NO safe amount to be consumed and as a result the regulators have lowered the threshold for acceptable levels in our drinking water, however the research shows there is no safe amount.
No one should we drinking straight out of the tap. Not even filtered water is good for us.

Filtered water has a higher ORP meaning filtered water actually adds to the oxidative stress inside our bodies, contributing to inflammation and disease. Kangen water has a high negative ORP, indicating it reduces oxidative stress, inflammation, and therefore disease.
Bottled Water
Bottled water is a BIG no! Most bottled water when tested also shows different contaminants.
Recent research has shown high amounts of micro plastics in ALL bottled water.

Chemical leaching occurs when heat causes toxic chemicals from the plastic to be released into the water. And think about how long water usually sits in bottles for, months to years.

Chemical leaching has also been linked to hormone disruption, mimicking estrogen, resulting in elevated levels causing all sorts of havoc.

Not to mention the environmental impact the over consumption of plastic goods is having on the planet.
Reverse Osmosis
Reverse osmosis is a filtering process that may be effective in areas that do not receive municipally treated water and is commonly used in bottled water facilities. The problem with this process is that reverse osmosis stripes everything from the water, removing not only the bad stuff but also the healthy, naturally occurring minerals in the water. These minerals not only provide taste, but they also serve a vital function in the body’s system. When stripped of these minerals, water can become unhealthy. Adding minerals back into this type of water was once thought to be a solution but we now know that adding synthetic minerals back into our water can cause health concerns of their own.
